Amazon Prime Video missing from the Apple app store

On Friday, Amazon’s app that hosts all of its streaming content disappeared from Apple’s app store. The issue resuled from a technical issue and the app should be restored soon.

This lead to the many tweets on twitter, users flagging issues that they cannot find Prime Video within the Apple app store.

The developer has removed the app from the Apple App Store.

TechCrunch and AppleInsider reported that with multiple mobile users sharing screengrabs of attempted updates surfaced this notice.

It is also observed that the app is missing from Apple TV. Also, Gizmondo confirmed that Prime Videos was no longer available for the download through the App Store, although it was working fine.

When Gizmodo reached for a comment, an Apple spokesperson directed to Prime Video PR. Amazon spokesperson told that a technical issue caused the disappearance and said that the app would be back soon on the App Store.
